A Team Built on Scientific Expertise

Every peptide project at JPT is supported by people who understand both the science and the practical demands behind it.

Across our Berlin headquarters and U.S. office, more than 100 team members contribute expertise in chemistry, analytics, purification, quality, production, business development, project management, and customer support.

With a strong scientific team, including many PhD-level specialists, we work closely with researchers worldwide to provide reliable guidance, precise execution, and dependable peptide solutions from start to finish.

Managing Directors

Aurélien Claeyssen

holds a Masters degree in Biotechnology and Management. He co-founded Smartox in 2013, a peptide-based drug discovery company, and SB-PEPTIDE in 2016, a peptide CDMO company. He served as Chief Commercial Officer and Board Member.

Dr. Sierk Poetting

holds a Master of Science in Optical Sciences and a Ph.D. in Physics. From 2012 to August 2014, he served as Vice President and CFO of Sandoz North America at Novartis, later becoming CFO and COO at BioNTech SE, leading key financial and operational functions.
