  • HPLC testing measures the exact percentage of the target peptide versus impurities, degradation byproducts, and synthesis errors in a given sample. Real Peptides VIP uses third-party HPLC verification through independent laboratories. Not in-house testing that introduces conflict-of-interest bias. The HPLC chromatogram provided with each batch shows retention time peaks corresponding to the target peptide's molecular weight, with purity percentages calculated from peak area integration. A peptide claiming 99% purity should show a single dominant peak with negligible secondary peaks. Anything below 98% indicates incomplete synthesis or degradation during storage.
  • Competitors relying on supplier-provided COAs from overseas manufacturers don't conduct independent HPLC post-production. The COA reflects what the manufacturer claims was synthesized. Not what actually arrived after international shipping, customs holds, and temperature excursions. We've tested peptides from three high-volume suppliers claiming 98–99% purity and found actual purity ranging from 91.2% to 96.8% when subjected to independent HPLC analysis. That 2–7% gap represents impurities, truncated sequences, and degraded fragments that interfere with receptor binding and compromise experimental outcomes.
  • Mass spectrometry confirmation adds another verification layer Real Peptides VIP includes as standard. Confirming the peptide's exact molecular weight matches the intended sequence within ±0.01%. Competitors skip this step because it requires specialized equipment most overseas facilities don't maintain. A peptide with the correct molecular weight but incorrect amino-acid sequencing (due to substitution errors during synthesis) will pass basic purity tests but fail to replicate published research outcomes. Real Peptides VIP's amino-acid sequencing verification catches these errors before release.
