- Most stability failures occur during the transition between storage states. Moving a vial from −20°C to reconstitution at room temperature, then back to 4°C storage post-mixing. Each temperature change introduces condensation risk (moisture on the vial exterior can wick through needle punctures) and thermal cycling stress. Minimise these transitions: plan reconstitution timing so the vial goes directly from freezer to use to refrigerator in a single sequence.
