New data on Tourette drug
This week, we’re likely going to see Phase 2 data from Neurocrine Biosciences’ study of Ingrezza, a drug that treats Tourette syndrome. Ingrezza, a dopamine-modulating drug, is also being studied in tardive dyskinesia.
First hearing for Tom Price
Tom Price, a Georgia Republican who’s been nominated for secretary of Health and Human Services, goes before the Senate HELP committee on Wednesday. It won’t ultimately advance his nomination (that’s the Finance Committee), but it will be the first public forum for airing the conflict of interest concerns that have been raised about Price.
