Linda Stein Gold, MD, director of dermatology clinical research and division head of dermatology at Henry Ford Health System, discussed some “exciting talks” from Maui Derm 2026 that focused on oral agents for psoriasis.
Although there’s currently an “unmet need for the oral treatment of psoriasis,” two oral TYK2 inhibitors and an oral peptide are showing potential in this space, according to Stein Gold.
“Bottom line was, it’s an exciting time for the treatment of psoriasis,” Stein Gold said in a video interview with Healio. “We have some really exciting new molecules on the horizon, and I think we can do even a better job of getting our patients under control.”
