PS you will probably need permission from the airline and security.
If ok take a couple of resealable plastic bags and ask the steward if they can load some ice in them for you to place in the cool bag if necessary

I travel with pre loaded syringes on a regular basis without problems. Ice is not usually recommended as solution may become inactive unless in a cool bag with separate compartment for ice pack so not in direct contact. Just keep as cool as possible and refrigerate once landed at hotel/apartment. You will also need letter from Dr for security (may look for it so safer to have it with you).

yes I meant ice in a resealable fridge bag to replace the pre-frozen plastic container in a cool bag if the journey is long. I am surprised you don't have any problems with security as a pair of nail scissors would cause a bag alert in Gatwick let alone one of those.

Always take a copy of the prescriptions with the medication. . Keep in hand luggage. I never declare mine or bring to anyones attention. Kept in a cool bag with other medication. The scanners can pick it up at security, especially the other foil wrapped medication in blister packs. Never been pulled in 15 visits. Wife often gets pulled for no reason. She must look suspicious lol.

My son was traveling with epipens in really hot weather (heat can affect the adrenaline) and we found that there were specific carrying pouches for injections and epipens. Just do an internet search. At the airport I always mention the epipens but they are not interested. My son goes through without mentioning them and never has a problem. I would however always tell the cabin crew so that they are aware that you have sharp objects. You certainly should carry a letter from your GP stating why you need to carry them with you.
