12:45-13:00: One Stop Solution for Self-amplifying RNA Synthesis and Lipid Nanoparticle Delivery

Head of mRNA & Plasmid

Self-amplifying RNA (saRNA) encodes a viral replicase alongside the target protein, facilitating continuous production of the desired protein. GenScript developed a novel synthetic saRNA system based on alpha-virus with a 5-Methylcytidine modification, showing higher eGFP & Luciferase expression in vitro cell-based assay. We also validated our saRNA-LNP platform by delivering a transmembrane protein CCR9 and induced robust antibody production in mice. In summary, GenScript provides a one-stop solution for saRNA-LNP.

13:00-13:15: Mastering the Art of Hydrophobic Peptide Synthesis

Senior Scientist

Hydrophobic peptides act as an important part in functional identification of membrane proteins and in peptide drug development. However, as they show by nature high aggregation and low solubility in solvents, as well as tend to form secondary structures during synthesis, the corresponding research is greatly restricted. Here, we summarize how new techniques and methods drive changes in the field of hydrophobic peptides synthesis.
