The FLAG peptide, FLAG tag or FLAG epitope allows highly specific pull-downs with a low background. The FLAG peptide is used in many different assays such as purification, conjugation by ELISA, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation etc. Recombinant proteins are usually expressed with affinity tag to allow their purification, conjugation by ELISA, flow cytometry, immunoprecipitation etc. This peptide is biotinylated at the N-terminus.
