This guidance is provided for laboratory handling of research materials. Use clean technique, minimise contamination risk, and follow your lab SOPs at all times.

Lyophilised (powder) form

Store vials in a cool, dry environment away from direct sunlight and moisture.

Keep vials sealed until needed and minimise unnecessary exposure.

Reconstitution

Allow both the vial and diluent to reach room temperature before mixing.

Add diluent slowly down the side of the vial and swirl gently to dissolve.

Do not shake vigorously; avoid foaming and agitation.

Recommended diluent: Bacteriostatic Water 10 ml.

After reconstitution

Store reconstituted solutions at 2–8 °C and protect from light where applicable.

Avoid repeated temperature cycling (warming/cooling), which can accelerate degradation.

If your SOP requires aliquoting, prepare aliquots using sterile technique to reduce repeated handling.

Important: Gel-prone peptides (AOD-9604 & HGH-Frag)

AOD-9604 and HGH-Frag can be gel-prone at higher concentrations. To improve handling, we include a free empty 10 ml vial with each AOD-9604 and HGH-Frag order. For best results, we recommend preparing a minimum total volume of 5 ml.

Step 1: Add 2 ml of diluent to the original peptide vial and swirl gently.

Step 2: Transfer the solution into the included empty 10 ml vial.

Step 3: Add additional diluent to reach a minimum total volume of 5 ml.

Note: If reconstituted into too small a volume, these peptides may gel, particularly with high-purity material.

Shelf life (general guidance)

There is no single fixed post-reconstitution shelf life across all peptides. As a general guideline, many labs aim to use prepared solutions promptly and minimise long storage, especially for more fragile sequences. Follow your SOPs and discard if contamination, discoloration, or particulate matter is observed.
