The FDA’s Pharmacy Compounding Advisory Committee (PCAC) met July 23-24 to consider whether 7 peptides should be made available for compounding.
The panel voted to recommend 6 peptides for compounding, including BPC-157 and TB-500! This isn’t the final step – the FDA still needs to approve the recommendation – but this is a huge first step in patient access to peptides!
When do we expect these peptides will be officially approved? We don’t know for sure; it could be a few days, a few weeks, or a few months. Our team is following this topic closely, and we plan to offer these peptides as soon as they are available.
