Description

About TAT(47-57), FAM-labeled Peptide - CAS 1676104-81-6

TAT (47-57), FAM-labeled is a fluorescent-labeled TAT (47-57) peptide. It is a cationic cell penetrating peptide (CPP) that can be used as a cargo delivery system across cell membranes and to study intracellular processes. TAT (47-57) is a fragment of the HIV transactivator protein (TAT) protein transduction domain (PTD), here labeled with the fluorescent dye 5(6)-Carboxyfluorescein. This arginine-rich TAT peptide is able to translocate through the cell membrane and facilitate the delivery of various cargoes such as proteins, peptides, antibodies, and liposomes.

JPT’s Cell Penetrating Peptides – CPPs

Cell Penetrating Peptides (CPPs) are capable of crossing cellular membranes, facilitating the delivery of various therapeutic and experimental cargoes, such as bioactive molecules, into cells. Their ability to transport molecules that otherwise cannot penetrate cell membranes, such as proteins, peptides, and even large nucleic acids like plasmid DNA or RNA, makes them indispensable for both fundamental research and clinical applications. JPT Peptide Technologies has substantial, long-standing expertise in providing peptides in all formats, scales and modifications to the global scientific community. All our catalog peptides are provided with HPLC-MS analyses to confirm the identity and demonstrate the high quality of our peptides.

JPT has shown real valuable know-how and experience in the field of peptide synthesis by their ability to generate high quality preparations of amyloid beta peptide variants which are known for their difficulty to handle."Kerensa Broersen, Assistant Prof., Nanobiophysics Group, University of Twente, Enschede, The Netherlands
