Background:
Investigation of hypoglycaemia and assessment of residual islet cell function
Sample must be received by the laboratory within 1 hour of sampling.
Please send an additional fluoride oxalate (grey top) sample for glucose analysis.
Samples will not be referred for analysis unless:
- hypoglycaemia is demonstrated, or
- clinical details support referral
