Promising in animals, limited in humans. BPC-157 has demonstrated consistent healing effects in animal models, accelerating repair of tendons, ligaments, and muscles across various delivery methods. It also appears to support angiogenesis and counteract the negative effects of corticosteroids on healing.¹ However, despite over two decades of preclinical research, there is a paucity of clinical trials evaluating its use for musculoskeletal injuries in humans, and it remains unapproved for medical use by regulatory bodies.² Collagen peptides do have human clinical data.
